CDL-A Night Shuttle Truck Driver

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, motivated full-time CDL-A Night Shuttle Driver in Streetsboro, OH. You will drive a modern day cab tractor pulling a 53’ trailer to other Pyle terminals on an overnight schedule, Monday through Friday, with daily home time.

Responsibilities

• Drive a day cab tractor pulling a 53’ trailer to other Pyle terminals.
• Complete overnight trips between various Pyle locations.
• Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhere to all FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Hazmat endorsement required to start.
• Tanker endorsement required to start or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor trailer experience.
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• No more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years (subject to review).
• Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.

Pay

$35.50 per hour with overtime after 40 hours. Weekly pay every Friday via direct deposit.

Schedule

Home daily, Monday through Friday (overnight schedule).
