CDL A Local Truck Driver

About the role

As a Vehicle Transporter, you'll be home daily, moving cars between Carvana production facilities and delivery hubs. We offer competitive pay with a pay-per-mile compensation structure, along with numerous opportunities to earn additional income.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous and professional behavior & appearance
• Loading and securing vehicles on our 9 car haulers
• Following all safety procedures and maintaining driver log
• Transporting vehicles between Carvana locations
• Must adhere to the delivery schedule
• Maintain a clean driving record and Class A CDL
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of our customer cars
• Communicate with transportation team

Requirements

• Valid CDL driver's license with Med Card
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• 6 months of tractor trailer experience in the last 3 years or equivalent military experience

Other Requirements

• Must be able to walk 75' and climb a 10' ladder
• Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand and climb as required to secure load
• Requires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an outdoor environment
• Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Requires use of safety equipment that may include non-slip shoes, gloves, and other protective garments and equipment

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a valid CDL driver's license with a Medical Examiner’s Certificate, be at least 21 years old, and have 6 months of tractor trailer experience in the last 3 years or equivalent military experience.

Skills

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently are essential.

Pay

Average Weekly Pay: $1,650 + Bonus Opportunities
Competitive Pay Range: $1,124 - $1,750 per week
