CDL A Local Truck Driver - $90k+

About the role

At Air Products, we are hiring CDL Class A Local Truck Drivers to join our Lakota, IA location. This role is eligible for our Veteran Apprenticeship Program.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver liquid CO2 to our customers and plants within a 250-mile radius of the terminal.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in efficient condition.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records strictly adhering to DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to determine and successfully implement delivery schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance and report any vehicle issues for timely resolution.
• Foster a positive and collaborative environment while handling any customer inquiries or concerns.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Valid Class A CDL. Tanker and HazMat endorsements (or willing to acquire prior to hire).
• 3 years of recent tractor trailer experience.
• 0 at-fault accidents within the last 3 years.
• No more than 1 citation within the last 3 years.
• Meet all DOT requirements.
• Ability to work nights and weekends regularly.
• Proven solid, safety record and stable work history.

Pay

Average annual income is $90k+

Schedule

Home Daily Set schedule with 2 consecutive days off per week. This is a 24/7 operation with bid schedules that cover afternoons, nights, and weekends.
