About the role
TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support local delivery operations. This is a temp-to-hire position based in Kernersville, North Carolina.
Schedule & pay
- Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 6:00 AM start
- Pay: $25.00 per hour, overtime after 40 hours
- Home time: Daily
- Route type: Local
- Transmission: Automatic
- Freight handling: Light touch / no-touch delivery
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL-A commercial vehicle on local delivery routes
- Deliver products to assigned customers
- Perform light-touch freight handling as required
- Load and unload product safely
- Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations
- Follow all DOT, company safety, and delivery procedures
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Ability to safely handle and deliver freight
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
