About the role

CDL A Local Flatbed Truck Driver position offering daily home time, a dedicated route between Ghent, KY and the Chicago area, and work with preloaded flatbed trailers.

Responsibilities

• Pick up preloaded trailers in Ghent, KY and deliver to the Chicago area on a dedicated flatbed route.
• Operate flatbed equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manage daily schedule to stay within the 14‑hour DOT clock.
• Provide dedicated customer service on each delivery.
• Work with reliable, preloaded trailers for efficient daily operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of CDL‑A truck driving experience.
• Valid CDL‑A license.
• Ability to operate flatbed equipment safely.
• Ability to manage daily schedule within the 14‑hour DOT clock.
• Commitment to dedicated customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Flatbed experience preferred.
• Military background encouraged.
• No degree required.

Pay

Schedule

Consistent morning start times between 05:00 and 07:00; home daily, typically back before the end of the 14‑hour clock.
