CDL A Local Dry Van Driver in Mt. Vernon, IL

About the role

CEVA Logistics is hiring a CDL A Local Dry Van Driver in Mt. Vernon, IL. The position operates Monday - Friday with weekends available but not required. All freight is No Touch and delivered in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with State and Federal DOT regulations and all Transportation Security Administration requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with State and Federal DOT regulations and all Transportation Security Administration requirements.
• Operate a dedicated route with No Touch Freight equipment.
• Drive newer fleet with state-of-the-art equipment, full maintenance support, safety features, and electronic logs.
• Work AM and PM shifts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED (minimum 5 years of industry driving experience may be substituted).
• Must have valid CDL License.
• Minimum 6 months of verifiable CDL A driving experience.
• Must have a clean motor vehicle record (MVR) with no more than 3 moving violations/traffic citations in the past 3 years and no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• No DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years.
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

• Must have at least 5 years of industry driving experience.
• Must have a valid CDL License.
• Must have a clean MVR.
• Must meet DOT requirements.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

• Knowledge of DOT regulations.

Pay

Daily Rate: $232
Driver Referral Bonus: $1,000 per driver hired, paid after 90 days of employment
Quarterly Safe Driving Bonus: Paid via direct deposit weekly
