Job Summary

Sysco has immediate openings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a tractor‑trailer and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Drivers build relationships with each customer using a positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor‑trailer to deliver a wide range of food‑service products.
• Manually unload and move product weighing an average of 40‑60 lb, up to 100 lb repeatedly.
• Follow an assigned route schedule and ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate professionally with customers, answering inquiries and completing required paperwork.
• Maintain a positive, friendly attitude to build strong customer relationships.
• Adhere to safety and company policies while on the road and at delivery sites.

Minimum Requirements

• Age 21 years or older.
• Pass employment testing.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a driving record that meets company insurability standards.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently for public interaction, traffic signs, official inquiries, and report entry.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or move product weighing 40‑60 lb on average, up to 100 lb repeatedly.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year of customer delivery experience.
• 6 months of hand‑cart/hand‑truck experience.
• 6 months of food and beverage experience.
• 2 years of consistent work history.

Pay
