CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver

About the role

Safely and efficiently operate a tractor‑trailer to deliver a variety of products — meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, and more — to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Build relationships with each customer using a positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on a local delivery route
• Manually unload and deliver products to customer sites
• Maintain positive customer relationships and understand their operations
• Follow assigned route schedules and adapt to business needs
• Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• 21+ years of age
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screen
• Physically able to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40–60 pounds and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
• Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year of customer delivery experience
• 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience
• 6 months of Food and Beverage industry experience
• 2 years of consistent work history
