CDL-A LOCAL DELIVERY DRIVER
About the role
Mohawk Industries / Daltile is seeking a Local Driver to join our private fleet. Drivers who join Mohawk often stay until retirement because we offer great pay and benefits, consistent work schedules and predictable home time. This position features 100% No Touch Freight (primarily drop and hook) with professionally maintained, reliable and safe equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Operate a forklift and pallet jacks to maneuver heavy products
- Work in the warehouse as required
- Deliver flooring products with no-touch freight (primarily drop and hook)
Requirements
- Be at least 23 years old
- Possess a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Have a minimum of 6 months commercial driving experience
- Be able to drive a manual transmission
- Be able to operate a forklift
- Have good interpersonal communication and customer-service skills
- Be willing to work a flexible schedule
Pay
$28.00–$30.00 per hour (Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm). Base pay is determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short & long term incentive packages, and other company sponsored benefit programs.
