About the Role
- Type: Powdered cement
- Local Routes: Home daily
Pay
- Average pay: $1,300–$1,600 per week
- Starting Compensation: 25% of Line Haul
- 90-day Increase to: 28% of Line Haul
- Additional stop pay
- Short haul loads
- Detention pay
- Driver unload / assist unload pay
- HazMat loads pay
- Holiday pay
- Trailer spotting / extra drop hook pay
- Breakdown pay
- All hourly work paid as straight time
- Weight ticket reimbursements at face value

Equipment
Our International LT trucks come fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, TV, premium driver's seat, and an auxiliary power unit (APU) for your comfort on the road.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
- Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow special handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight.
- Maintain accurate HOS logs and all required DOT/FMCSA documentation.
- Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure all paperwork is complete and correct.
- Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fluids, minor repairs); keep trailer clean and ready.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL — required.
- HazMat endorsement preferred, not required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- TWIC card preferred, not required.
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.
