CDL A Home Daily Driver

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Sealy, TX (ZIP 77474). This is a regular full‑time, home‑daily position with a focus on solo flatbed deliveries within Texas.

Pay

• Average weekly earnings: $1,500‑$1,600 or more
• Paid weekly
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.664 per mile
• Solo Stops Pay: $21.79 per stop
• Up to $3,400 in annual bonuses (available after 2 years)

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• Start time: 3:00 AM ‑ 5:00 AM
• Home daily

Requirements

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and DOT physical
• Provide a valid CDL‑A with appropriate endorsements
• Class A verifiable experience:
  • 9 months within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years within the past 5 years, OR
  • 5 years within the past 10 years
• Ability to follow written/oral instructions and interpret laws, regulations, and company policies
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Additional screening may be required for certain customer assignments (e.g., employment/education verification, motor‑vehicle record check, badging)

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading when required by the customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
