CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Truck Driver

About the role

Terminals are located in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Texas. Central dispatch is also available.

Responsibilities

• Earn up to $1,400 per week in the first year
• Average pay of $1,000 - $1,400 per week in the first year, increasing to $70,000 - $80,000 in the second year
• Truck is dedicated, no slip seating
• 2 - 3 days out depending on route
• Regional routes offer more home time
• Percentage of load pay - earn more by running more
• Additional pay for each overnight stay
• Tanker driver paid extra for layovers over 2 hours

Requirements

• Must be within driving distance of one of our terminals (NC: Fayetteville or Wilmington, SC: Cowpens, Florence, Columbia, TN: Kingsport, GA: Savannah or Dalton, FL: Jacksonville, AL: Decatur, TX: Channelview)
• Must be at least 23 years old
• Should possess only one CDL-A, issued in the state of residence
• Must have at least one year of over-the-road experience under a DOT certified carrier
• Should possess a tanker endorsement
• Must possess a hazmat endorsement
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen
• Must be eligible for a Transportation Worker's Identification Card (TWIC) or passport
• Must possess a DOT medical certification with no waivers
• Must have the ability to read, write, and speak the English language
• Must be able to pass a respirator or pulmonary function test if necessary
