CDL A Driver - Touch Freight - $36.85/hr

About the role

This local CDL A Driver role is based in Hopewell Junction, NY and pays $36.85 per hour. You will make 4 to 7 deliveries per day to hospitals, ambulatory care centers, and dialysis locations using electric pallet jacks. This is a TransForce driving opportunity with consistent support for a local delivery route in Hopewell Junction, NY.

Responsibilities

• Deliver healthcare-related freight throughout New York and the western third of Connecticut.
• Make approximately 4 to 7 stops per day, including hospitals, ambulatory care centers, and dialysis locations.
• Move pallets, carts, and totes using electric pallet jacks.
• Bump a dock or lower freight to the ground with a liftgate, then bring deliveries into facilities through ground-level entrances.
• Break down tall pallets when needed and pick up empty pallets, carts, and totes from customer locations.

Requirements

• Valid CDL A
• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old

Pay

Pay rate: $36.85 per hour, estimated $2000 per week

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, Tuesday through Saturday, or Sunday through Thursday
• Drivers must be open to any of the three assigned schedules
• Start times are around 2:00 AM to 3:00 AM
• Local routes based in Hopewell Junction, NY
