CDL A Driver - PM Shift

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations
• Transport goods and materials to various locations
• Load and unload cargo
• Ensure all cargo is secured properly and safely
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience driving with CDL
• Pick up and delivery experience preferred
• Must be at least 23 years old
• CDL Hazardous Materials & Tanker Endorsements preferred, to be obtained within 3 months of hire
• Able to complete assigned tasks within required time frames
• Able to take care of the customer’s needs while following company procedures
• Able to communicate professionally and effectively with employees and customers
• Able to demonstrate professional conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards
• Able to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work
• Able to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one’s ability using his/her own drive or initiative
• High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
• No convictions for a “serious or disqualifying traffic violation” within the last three years
• No more than four moving violations in the past 36 months, and no more than two moving violations in the previous 12 months
• Must be able to pass drug screen, DOT physical and Functional Employment Physical
• Must be willing to participate in Random Drug Program
