CDL A Driver- Nights

About the role

This is a local driving position with a 5:00 pm start time. You will have a dedicated route, delivering products to Granite Group customers and job sites with courteous and timely service. Tanks are pre-filled and trucks are pre-loaded, allowing you to focus on deliveries. You’ll be home every night.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries to customers and other branches, assisting with unloading
• Prepare, load, unload, and deliver products (e.g., boilers, water heaters) to job sites and customers
• Operate a forklift in the warehouse (training provided)
• Load truck by ordering, placing, and securing items
• Maintain safe operation and clean appearance of the vehicle by complying with organizational policies, procedures, and state/local driving regulations

Requirements

• Repetitive heavy lifting involved; ability to swiftly and carefully lift 75 lbs
• At least 21 years of age
• Experience as a delivery driver
• Valid DOT medical card, clean drug and background screen
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Polite and professional disposition; ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations
