CDL A Driver- Nights

About the role

This is a local driving position with a 5:00 pm start time, home every night. You will have a dedicated route delivering products to Granite Group customers and job sites. Tanks are pre-filled and trucks are pre-loaded before you begin your route.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries to customers and other branches with courteous and timely service
• Assist with unloading deliveries
• Prepare, load, unload, and deliver products such as boilers and water heaters to job sites and customers
• Swiftly and carefully lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
• Operate a forklift in the warehouse (training offered)
• Load truck by ordering, placing, and securing items
• Maintain safe operation and clean appearance of the vehicle by complying with organizational policies, procedures, and state/local driving regulations

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Experience as a delivery driver
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• DOT medical card, physical, drug screen, and background check are mandatory
• Polite and professional disposition with the ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations
