CDL A Driver- Nights

About the role

This is a local driving position with a 5:00 pm start time, allowing you to be home every night. You will have a dedicated route, delivering products to Granite Group customers and job sites with courteous and timely service. Tanks are pre-filled, and trucks are pre-loaded for your route.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries to customers and other branches, assisting with unloading as needed.
• Prepare, load, unload, and deliver products such as boilers and water heaters to job sites and customers.
• Operate a forklift in the warehouse (training provided).
• Load the truck by ordering, placing, and securing items.
• Maintain safe operation and clean appearance of the vehicle by complying with organizational policies, procedures, and state/local driving regulations.

Requirements

• Repetitive heavy lifting involved; ability to swiftly and carefully lift 75 lbs.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Experience as a delivery driver.
• Valid DOT medical card, drug screen, and background check are mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Polite and professional disposition with the ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations.
