About the role

We are hiring a CDL A Driver Hazmat - Nitrogen Transport Driver in McAlester, OK. Immediate opening!

Responsibilities

  • Safely deliver liquid nitrogen to customers
  • Partner with district manager and field supervisor for excellent customer service and operational success
  • Champion the Airgas Nitrogen Services safety culture and follow DOT rules
  • Coordinate with leadership to meet customer needs and run operations smoothly
  • Provide professional and courteous delivery services to customers

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements
  • TWIC card required
  • One year of tractor-trailer driving experience within the last four years
  • One year of tanker experience within the last four years
  • Proficiency with manual transmission vehicles

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years technical college or military technical experience
  • Forklift experience
  • Basic knowledge of cryogenic pumps, tanks, transports, hydraulic equipment and diesel engines
  • Knowledge of industrial gases
