Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, and safely transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Operation of all fleet and facility equipment, including vac tankers, roll-off equipment, walking floor trailers, dump trailers
• Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment while maintaining appearance of company equipment to meet company standards
• Interfacing and creating a Wow! Experience for our clients at the point of delivery
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after pickups
• Efficiently able to operate a manual transmission (no automatic restriction)
• Willing to do overnight runs
• Able to make minor repairs is a plus (light bulbs, fuses, minor air leaks)
• Able to identify and report equipment malfunction or damage

Requirements

• CDL Driver must have good driving history and pass background check
• Valid Class A CDL w/ HazMat & Tanker Endorsements
• Must be willing to obtain TWIC Card
• CDL Driver must pass DOT drug screen, physical, and road test
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Driving experience and tanker experience preferred

Physical Demands

• The employee must lift up to 50 pounds
• Be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• This position will require wearing personal protective equipment
• Ability to do repetitive motion (lifting, pulling, and loading hoses/pumping totes and drums)
