Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Loading, unloading, and safely transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials
- Operation of all fleet and facility equipment, including vac tankers, roll-off equipment, walking floor trailers, dump trailers
- Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment while maintaining appearance of company equipment to meet company standards
- Interfacing and creating a Wow! Experience for our clients at the point of delivery
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after pickups
- Efficiently able to operate a manual transmission (no automatic restriction)
- Willing to do overnight runs
- Able to make minor repairs is a plus (light bulbs, fuses, minor air leaks)
- Able to identify and report equipment malfunction or damage
Requirements
- CDL Driver must have good driving history and pass background check
- Valid Class A CDL w/ HazMat & Tanker Endorsements
- Must be willing to obtain TWIC Card
- CDL Driver must pass DOT drug screen, physical, and road test
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Driving experience and tanker experience preferred
Physical Demands
- The employee must lift up to 50 pounds
- Be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- This position will require wearing personal protective equipment
- Ability to do repetitive motion (lifting, pulling, and loading hoses/pumping totes and drums)
