CDL A Driver

About the role

If you’re looking to make a difference with one of the world’s largest equipment rental providers, this is your chance to join United Rentals as a Class A CDL Driver. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver equipment safely and efficiently to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers ("low boys") consistent with DOT classification
• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
• Diligent attention to safety

Pay

The actual pay rate offered to candidates varies depending upon a wide range of factors including specific position, education, training, experience, skills, and ability. Compensation Range: $29.80 - $44.65
