Location: New Bedford, MA. Hours: 5:00 am start. Pay: $31.87/hr, increasing to $32.87 after 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick‑up of goods to ensure timely service.
- Maintain contact with the dispatcher to receive delivery or pick‑up instructions and notice of schedule changes.
- Maintain customer relations while on route.
- Occasionally lift 25–50 lb while loading and unloading trucks.
- Use a handheld device to track inventory and client relations.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of CDL‑A driving experience with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to use handheld devices such as smartphones, or willingness to learn.
- Experience in client relations.
