CDL-A Driver

About the role

Buck Company LLC is looking for a CDL-A Driver to join our team in Quarryville, PA. This role is responsible for making daytime runs on designated truck routes, as well as moving, storing, and spacing materials as directed. The driver will deliver materials to various departments and between plant locations following prescribed practices and instructions. Responsibilities

• Conduct daily daytime truck runs between plant locations and to various departments.
• Move, store, and space materials safely and accurately as directed.
• Deliver materials efficiently while following all instructions and prescribed practices.
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Strictly follow all company and DOT safety procedures.
• Perform miscellaneous material handling and warehouse duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must possess a valid, clean Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
• 3–5 years of commercial driving experience is required.
• 2–3 years of previous material handling experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
• Capable of carrying out tasks with all necessary details and a high level of integrity.
• Works highly effectively as a member of a group.
• Highly motivated to perform without outside help and driven by goal completion.
• Flexible and enthusiastic about taking on more responsibility and learning new skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs. consistently over the course of a shift.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment.
