Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic laws and company regulations
- Transport landscape materials, equipment, and personnel to project sites as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage
- Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment as required
- Communicate effectively with the operations team to coordinate daily tasks and schedules
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Knowledge of landscape materials and equipment is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility in work hours and availability for overtime as required
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to run a dump and haul equipment
- Doubles endorsement would be great but not required
