CDL A Driver - $26 Per Hour

About the role

Located in Smyrna, Tennessee, this is a Local, Temp‑to‑Hire position with an Automatic transmission. The role requires 6+ months of experience handling no‑touch freight, hauling salads, potatoes, corn, and other foods using tractor‑trailer dry van and reefer equipment. TransForce values driver safety, career growth, and compliance with DOT/FMCSA standards.

Responsibilities

• Drop and hook operations
• Live load and unload
• Schedule released the week prior

Requirements

• 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Valid Driver’s License or CDL A
• Valid DOT Medical card
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

Pay

Pay Rate: $26+ per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule

Schedule: Varies – 4 days on, 3 days off. Shifts start between 1 pm and 4 pm.
