As a CDL A Depot Driver, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering clean, high-quality textiles and garments to businesses across the Midwest. Essential Functions Delivers clean/new product to depot dailyPicks up soiled product for cleaning at WUL production plantUnloads soiled product and distributes at plant accordinglyLoads truck with product for next delivery dayKeep truck clean and notify Fleet Managers of any truck issuesResponsible for keeping truck plugged in during very cold weatherOther tasks assigned by Production Manager Requirements Qualifications Attention to detail is a must as errors may involve loss of customersRequires ability to use handheld pc, keyboard, monitor, phone, calculator, printer, and copierRequires ability to communicate verbally with othersAbility to handle multiple projects at once and maintain organization PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS Requires maximum physical effortRequired to sit for extended periodsMust be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist, lift, push and walkMust be able to drive a truck/semiMaximum unassisted lift = 50 lbsAbility to read, enter and use efficiently a hand-held computerAbility to use telephone to communicate with internal support personnelMust wear steel toed shoes/boots. Gloves are recommended Environmental Requirements Outside air temperatures during all seasons, including extreme heat/humidity during summer and cold during winterAt times, extreme odors or unclean product Job Requirements High school diploma general education degree (GED)Requires a Class A CDLMust pass a DOT physical prior to employmentMust pass drug/alcohol screening2 years of CDL driving experience is preferred
