Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to commercial driving regulations and maneuvering safely on roads and customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks safely and effectively, including work instructions, safety protocols, and operational communications.
