As a McLane CDL-A Delivery Driver, you'll safely deliver products to customers, represent trusted brands, and play an essential role in keeping businesses moving. Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill-of-lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and maneuvering vehicles on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering products into customer premises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks safely and effectively, including work instructions, safety protocols, and communications.
