CDL A Delivery Truck Driver - $7,500 Sign-on Bonus

McLane Columbus is hiring experienced CDL-A Delivery Drivers for our Columbus Restaurant Division. Drivers can earn $80,000-$95,000+ annually and may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500, depending on experience. Our drivers run customer-assisted delivery routes using liftgates and pallet jacks while getting Day 1 benefits with the stability of an industry leader.

Pay

• Earn $80,000-$95,000+ annually with top earners exceeding $100,000 per year.

• Pay structure: hourly, miles, stops, and cases.

Schedule

• 3rd shift, 5-day dispatch, Monday-Friday.
• Mix of home daily and 2-day routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products that keep America's restaurants, retailers, and convenience stores stocked and running every day.
• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, including understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
