CDL A Delivery Driver

Role Overview Seeking a professional delivery driver responsible for safely transporting and delivering products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate orders while maintaining food safety and vehicle standards. The role involves unloading goods, completing paperwork, and fostering positive customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Transport and deliver products efficiently, adhering to safety and company standards.Unload products at customer locations, handle damaged goods, and manage returns.Complete all required documentation, including logs and invoices, accurately and promptly.Follow food safety protocols, maintain vehicle sanitation, and operate equipment safely.Communicate effectively with customers and management about route or product issues.Operate tractor-trailers and related equipment, adhering to DOT and Hazmat guidelines.Develop good customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet customer needs. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; tractor trailer driving experience preferred.Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe lifting, and delivery practices.Strong driving skills across terrains and weather, with problem-solving abilities.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate equipment, and perform basic math and communication skills. Physical & Work Environment Regularly lift, push, and move up to 50 pounds, climb in/out of trucks, and handle pallets.Work may involve exposure to weather conditions, mechanical parts, and noise.Require alertness, safe driving, and adherence to safety procedures in a moderate noise environment.
