CDL A Delivery Driver

About the role

We are seeking experienced CDL-A Delivery Drivers to safely deliver products to restaurants, retailers, and convenience stores, ensuring stock and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailers for defects before and after trips and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Verify accuracy of bills of lading and store keys for off-hour deliveries.
• Drive tractor-trailers while adhering to commercial driving regulations and maneuver safely on roads and customer premises.
• Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and exceptions.
• Unload trailers and deliver products into customer locations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane’s MVR and risk standards.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English to perform job tasks effectively and safely.
