CDL A Delivery Driver

About the role

We’re partnering with a growing food distribution company in Newark, NJ that is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver. This company delivers refrigerated international food products across the Northeast and is looking for a reliable driver who wants steady, year-round work.

Responsibilities

• Driving local and OTR routes
• Delivering refrigerated food products
• Loading and unloading product at multiple stops
• Using hand trucks, ramps, stairs, and liftgates
• Inspecing the vehicle before and after trips
• Following DOT safety rules and company policies
• Logging hours, miles, fuel, tolls, and delivery paperwork
• Reporting any vehicle issues, delays, accidents, or violations

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license
• 2+ years of driving experience preferred
• Experience with 24–26 ft straight trucks preferred
• Comfortable driving day cab tractors with refrigerated trailers
• 1+ year of commercial driving experience
• Clean MVR for the past 3 years

Qualifications

$25–$35/hour depending on experience
Monday–Friday schedule
Day shift
Overtime available
