CDL A Delivery Driver
About the role
As a CDL-A Delivery Driver, you’ll inspect tractor-trailers for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports indicating condition. Inspect bills of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery. Drive tractor-trailers to destinations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicles on the road and on customer premises. Maintain driver logs (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and exceptions. Unload trailers, delivering products into customer premises. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, including understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role

Pay
Drivers make $85,000 to $100,000. Experienced drivers can make $100,000 plus.
