Pay

• Drivers average $80,000–$90,000+ annually
• Experienced drivers can earn $100,000+ per year
• Pay structure includes hourly, miles, stops, and cases

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to restaurants, retailers, and convenience stores
• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
• Verify bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to commercial driving regulations
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) per DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks safely and effectively
