CDL A Delivery Driver

About the role

Imperial Brady is a leading North American distributor and solutions provider for cleaning and facility care, foodservice, and packaging, with more than 13,000 employees and a broad supply chain network delivering national scale with local expertise. The Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of daily stops, delivering and providing exceptional customer service. Deliveries require unloading product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and delivering merchandise to the customer-designated location.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 53' truck or smaller
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after trips
• Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude

Requirements

• A valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A)
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• A valid TWIC Card
• A Hazmat endorsement, or willingness to obtain one
• 1 year of recent CDL A experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Ability to work some weekends
• Lift gate experience
• Strong work ethic

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (or until the daily route is completed). Rotating weekend routes are required.
