About the Role

As a McLane CDL-A Delivery Driver, you'll safely deliver products that keep America's restaurants, retailers, and convenience stores stocked and running every day. This role offers home daily team routes, Day 1 benefits, and stable work with a company that has been moving America forward for more than 130 years.

Pay and Benefits

• Drivers average $75,000 to $105,000 per year
• Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions
• Unload trailer, delivering products into customer premises
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, including understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role
