About the role

This position is for a dedicated truck driver who will be responsible for transporting goods within the Newport News, VA area. The role offers home weekly schedules and is open to new CDL graduates.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo from vehicles
• Drive assigned trucks safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies
• Ensure all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition

Requirements

• Valid Class A driver's license with at least 6 months of experience
• Clean driving and criminal record
• Live within 70 miles of Chesapeake, VA

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent

Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
