Pay
- $1,700 to $2,000 per week
- $0.85 to $0.90 per mile
- Approximately 2,100 miles per week
- $75 extra for each delivery inside the five boroughs of New York City
- $850 per week during training
- Paid weekly
Responsibilities
Dedicated round trips for a single retail customer. You load at the distribution center, deliver to stores across New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, and return. Every run is a round trip, and the team routes you through home as often as possible.
- City driving in New York and New Jersey
- Day or night shifts
- Weekends and holidays required
Training & Career Path
- A recruiter calls to review your license and record.
- Orientation.
- 3 to 5 weeks (200 to 250 hours) with a mentor, paid at $850 per week.
- You go solo on dedicated routes.
A CDL‑A school certificate of 120 hours or more is all you need to start.
Requirements
- Completed CDL‑A training at a truck driving school (minimum 120 hours)
- Class A CDL from your state of residence
- 21 years or older
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years; no DUI/DWI in the past 10 years
- DOT physical and drug screen
