CDL-A Dedicated Driver | Home 3+ Nights a Week | Grads Welcome

About the role

Dedicated day shift position based out of Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Drivers operate day runs with preloaded trailers, earn $0.70–$0.74 per mile, and receive weekly pay. New CDL graduates are provided with training and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform day runs with preloaded trailers
• Complete live unloads at each stop
• Maintain a dedicated day shift schedule
• Be home three or more nights per week and enjoy most weekends off
• Some weeks may involve six workdays

Requirements

• Class A CDL from your state of residence
• Age 21 or older
• New CDL graduate with 120+ hours of school training, or six months of recent driving experience
• No more than two moving violations in the past two years
• No DUI/DWI convictions in the past ten years
• Pass a DOT physical, hair follicle test, and urine drug screen

Pay

• $0.70–$0.74 per mile
• Approximately $1,400 per week
• About 1,600 miles driven per week
• $25 stop pay
• Weekly direct deposit
• Paid every week during training
• Orientation: up to 2 days, hotel covered, bus fare reimbursed, $300 bonus upon hire
• Training: 4–6 weeks one‑on‑one with a mentor, paid weekly
