CDL A Asphalt Tanker Driver

Best in Class Logistics—employee driven and customer focused—is hiring a Class A Regional Tanker Driver based in Tampa, FL. This dedicated route picks up asphalt in Tuscaloosa, AL for drop-and-hook in Bushnell, FL, with final delivery to Tampa at the end of each week. The position requires four overnights per week.

About the role

• Dedicated, 3–4 runs weekly from Tampa, FL to Tuscaloosa/Mobile, AL transporting asphalt
• Drop-and-hook operation with consistent year-round freight
• Long-term customer relationships with GAF, Home Depot, and James Hardie
• Fleet of over 450 late-model day-cab and sleeper tractors equipped with state-of-the-art technology

Pay

• Top pay average: $85,000 – $95,000 per year
• Compensation includes $0.62 – $0.68 per mile, activity pay, per diem, and quarterly safety bonuses

Requirements

• CDL A with hazmat and tanker endorsements (required)
• One full year of Class A CMV truck and tractor-trailer driving experience
• Safe driving record with no DUI/OWI, positive drug tests, or refusals
• Registered for the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
