CDC Receiver & Stocker

Position Summary

The CDC Receiver/Stocker at VP Supply Corp plays a vital role in supply chain operations by accurately auditing and preparing customer orders for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Performance in this role is evaluated using key warehouse KPIs: total lines received/hour, total lines stocked/hour, receiving discrepancies, scan compliance, and PO validation; helping ensure efficient operations and dependable service to our branches.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, stock, cross dock and audit orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Read and interpret hand scanning devices, tablets, BOLs, order sheets and product codes, among other operational data
• Verify, unload, review, finalize receiving and stock orders in a fast-paced environment
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks (training provided, but prior training is preferred)
• Ensure order accuracy and inspect items for damage or discrepancies
• Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2-5 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the required shift
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills required. Bill of Lading, Purchase Order processing and Sales Order reading and competency preferred
• Computer Skills required
• Customer Service skills preferred
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong, fast-paced work ethic and reliability
• Forklift and pallet jack and other Warehouse equipment training required. Prior history of certification preferred.
• Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus
