Performing Technical Writing

• Update documentation as required by either schedule or from field requests.
• Utilize SharePoint to collect, monitor, and manipulate RTS Sensor and system information through the collection, review, approval, and final distribution process.
• Maintain SharePoint site as a repository and to disseminate information to field personnel.
• Draft new technical documentation, as well as edit existing documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to configuration standards.
• Cook up and produce contractually deliverable documents, reports, and manuals relating to range instrumentation.

Schedule and Deliverables

• Maintain and meet deliverable schedules; must be proactive in obtaining information from field staff.

Documentation and Coordination

• Coordinate with internal and external customers in the production of contractually deliverable documents, reports, and manuals relating to range instrumentation.

Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrated technical writing ability; examples required.
• Hightly organized with the ability to independently maintain schedules and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project), and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Ability to perform essential job duties effectively with minimal supervision, applying sound judgment, and prioritizing workload independently.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple processes at one time.
• Excellent writing, typing, and proofreading skills.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma program tools and methodologies and/or Six Sigma Certification desired.
