CCIE Certified Network Architect

About the role

Develop a lab framework to connect IoT endpoints to campus/branch networks and certify the underlying hardware, software features, and endpoint functionality. Identify various communication scenarios between end and edge devices, and create, execute, or oversee testing of data gathering, aggregation, and analytics capabilities. Collaborate with different teams, network engineers, and higher management.

Responsibilities

• Design and troubleshoot Cisco and Arista network platforms and protocols.
• Deploy and manage SD-Access, DNA Center (DNAC), and VxLAN.
• Troubleshoot overall networking and network connectivity to IoT devices/sensors.
• Implement and manage IoT deployments and communication protocols.
• Configure and manage Cisco ISE, TACACS, DNS/DHCP.
• Work with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), spanning tree protocol, and multicast (IGMPv2/v3, PIM, Static RP, RP-Anycast).
• Handle overlay technologies like IPSEC, DMVPN, VXLAN, SDWAN, SDA, and MACSEC.
• Manage cabling and optics (10/25G/40G/50G/100G, breakout cables, breakout panels).
• Develop and execute testing scenarios for data gathering, aggregation, and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in enterprise network environments/customers.
• CCIE Lab certification (mandatory).
• In-depth experience with SD-Access deployment, DNAC, and VxLAN.
• Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching.
• Experience with IoT deployment and IoT communication protocols.
• Knowledge of Cisco ISE, TACACS, DNS/DHCP.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS-XE products, Micro/Macro Segmentation, and TrustSec.
• Familiarity with IP routing platforms: ISR, ASR1K, ASR9K, Catalyst 9K, Nexus 9K.
• Experience with multicast technologies (IGMPv2/v3, PIM, Static RP, RP-Anycast).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
