CCEOP Intake Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify eligibility based on CCEOP Guidelines
  • Coordinate and match participants with suitable placement sites in Tribal departments or local businesses
  • Help coordinate transportation routes and schedules for youth workers
  • Aid participants in developing resumes, preparing for interviews, and understanding basic workplace expectations
  • Conduct site visits and check-ins to support participants and ensure placements are progressing successfully
  • Maintain accurate data in systems like Google Sheets, Textedly, and other internal systems
  • Communicate with placement supervisors to gather feedback and help address participant needs
  • Organize and assist in delivering workshops on job-readiness topics
  • Monitor attendance, work performance, and progress of each participant and document outcomes
  • Aid participants in setting achievable work and education goals that align with CCEOP program objectives
  • Collect and maintain records, reports, and participant placement data using established systems
  • Cook up transportation or scheduling details for participants when needed
  • Support career exploration activities such as job fairs, guest speakers, and educational field trips
  • Participate in meetings with the CCEOP team to discuss placement updates and improvement ideas
  • Follow program guidelines to ensure participant safety and adherence to established standards
  • Prepare basic reports and summaries for program leadership as requested
  • Perform general office duties related to scheduling, communication, and record keeping

Requirements

  • Graduation from a four-year college or vocational program with coursework in education, social services, or workforce development
  • Three (3) years of experience in career services, employment counseling, training coordination, or a closely related area
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Organization and time management in fast-paced settings
  • Workshop support and participant instruction skills
  • Computer proficiency in standard office software
  • Record keeping and data entry accuracy
  • Superior customer service skills verbally and electronically
  • Interpersonal skills for working with diverse groups
  • Coordination of multiple projects and activities with attention to deadlines and details
  • Ability to build supportive relationships with participants and mentors
  • Work well with adults and teens
  • Exemplify a positive attitude in the workplace
  • Recognize participant needs and provide practical guidance
  • Coordinate multiple activities and meet deadlines
  • Follow program procedures and safety requirements
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with others
  • Adapt to changing priorities and environments
  • Demonstrate above-average proficiency in the use of technology and data management systems

Qualifications

  • Understanding of basic career development principles
  • Knowledge of resume writing and interview preparation
  • Familiarity with Tribal and community education programs

  • Basic understanding of confidentiality and data management
