About the role

Our Clean Mobility Division is seeking a CBU Controlling Director for our Auburn Hills, MI location. This role manages CBU controlling, Sales Controlling, and Acquisition Controlling for the Division, overseeing monthly closing, forecast, budget, and strategic plan financial activities. The position ensures a consolidated view of past, current, and future financial KPIs for the Division and serves as a business partner to the CBU community. Additionally, the CBU Controlling Director may assume other financial responsibilities as delegated by the Finance VP.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and control internal finance procedures in accordance with Group procedures and policies.
  • Ensure site activities comply with Faurecia Finance-related procedures and internal control basics.
  • Guarantee consistency and standardization of CBU/Sales/Acquisition controlling processes within the Business Group/Division.
  • Participate in defining IT tools and ERP to improve CBU/Program/R&D controlling.
  • Alert and arbitrate in case of discrepancies or financial risks/opportunities.
  • Act as a business partner to the CBU community, providing recommendations to management:
    • Propose action plans to achieve operational targets, particularly regarding program profitability.
    • Supervise CBU controllers on RFQA, IBP, Budget, and Forecasts.
    • Ensure financial awareness of CBU teams and implications of commercial decisions.
    • Supervise Acquisition controllers on RFQA through the IBP process, ensuring profitability and standards are maintained in coordination with sales directors.
    • Analyze and challenge main program gaps relative to benchmarks (BOP costs, Process costs, development costs).
  • Support Finance Activities of the Division:
    • Contribute to controlling analysis, including variance analysis, standard costs, margin/programs, and plant budgetary control, as delegated by the Finance VP.
    • Contribute to the forecast, budget, and strategic plan build-up for the Division, ensuring consistency between RBU and CBU views.

Requirements

  • Business School or Engineering background with a Master’s degree in Finance.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in an industrial environment, including a first technical experience (e.g., production, manufacturing engineering).
  • Team management experience.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English.
