CBRF Caregiver PCA PRN

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs (such as dressing, grooming, using the bathroom, bathing/showering, walking/transferring)
• Meditation administration (following medication training class and nurse delegation under the supervision of the Nurse Manager)
• Aid with resident meals, including serving, dining room setup/clean up
• Provide light housekeeping assistance (dusting, taking out garbage, laundry, making beds, vacuuming)
• Answer resident call lights promptly and assist as needed
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive attitude
• Enjoy providing residents with outstanding customer service
• Provide emotional support
• Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements

• 18 years old or older
• Caregiving experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Wisconsin CBRF Standard Precautions Certification (preferred)
• Wisconsin CBRF First Aid and Choking Certification (preferred)
• Wisconsin CBRF Fire Safety Certification (preferred)
• Wisconsin CBRF Medication Administration Certification (preferred)
