About the role

Menzies delivers cleaning services to Victoria Police stations across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, with hundreds of sites statewide. As a Cleaner you will play an important role in maintaining safe, clean and hygienic facilities for Victoria Police personnel and visitors. The position is based in Cavendish, VIC 3314. Applications are encouraged to allow sufficient time for security screening and onboarding ahead of the contract commencement date of 1 October 2026.

Responsibilities

• General commercial cleaning
• Vacuuming, mopping and floor care
• Cleaning offices, amenities and common areas
• Waste removal and recycling
• Sanitisation and infection control cleaning
• Maintaining presentation standards and site cleanliness

Requirements

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred but not essential
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport highly regarded (especially for multi‑site work)
• Reliable and punctual
• Customer focused
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically capable of undertaking cleaning duties
• Committed to high standards of service
• Available to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
• Able to complete contract‑specific security clearance
