Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work concurrently with crew to complete job while supervising workEnsure that established safety policies are followedTrain and mentor others on the Caulking Crew as neededProvide work direction, and promote teamwork, amongst the crew membersDaily logging and review of crew members hours to ensure payroll accuracyRepresent the company on, and off, job sites and communicate effectively with general contractor and sub-contractorsImplement company policies and procedures to ensure work performance is in compliance with ISO and OSHA standards, and DOT regulationsComplete new hire paperwork for local union members when requiredProvide daily reporting via tablet as required to administrative personnelProvide input for project pre-planning and follow field plansKeep supervisors informed on the job’s progress and estimate completion datesCommunicate resource problems to supervisors in a timely mannerVerify caulk details prior to starting the jobReview plans, complete an estimate/take off and order caulking material for projectsComplete caulking in a systematic manner to ensure completion and efficient use of resources Basic Qualifications: Valid driver’s licenseTwo years minimum of precast caulking experience Other Required Qualifications: Computer skillsAbility to use construction mensuration equipment (i.e. transits, levels, and laser levels)Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct at all timesPossess excellent work habits and be able to demonstrate them to subordinatesAbility to effectively communicate with personnel at different levelsAbility to foresee potential problems and take necessary action to prevent the problems from occurringAbility to work in an organized manner and adapt readily to changeAbility to read and interpret shop drawings Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma (or equivalent)Completion of OSHA 30-hour Physical Requirements: Ability to travelAbility to work extensive overtime when requiredAbility to work from ladders and aerial work platformsField: Must be able to traverse uneven ground, move minimum of 50lbs., spatial awareness/depth perception, climb on a flatbed semi-trailer Work Environment: Field: All types of weather conditions (year-round, Mid-west and Northeast), dirt/dust, noise from heavy machinery/vehicles
