About the Role
Unique, advanced skill level within waterproofing, specifically in high-quality caulking with minimal need for cleanup. Experience in caulking various substrates such as brick, precast, and windows, as well as other waterproofing applications beyond caulking. Ability to produce a uniform, aesthetically sealed caulk joint in one pass at least 80% of the time, with correct depth relative to joint width.
Responsibilities
- Work independently and direct technicians assisting on projects.
- Mentor technicians to support field growth.
- Promote and actively participate in Chamberlin’s Safety Program, using safe work practices.
- Demonstrate and promote Chamberlin’s core values of safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Assist in the training and development of technicians.
- Commit to work product perfection and production within the specific skill set (e.g., caulking, sheet metal, seams).
- Meet caulking production rates based on industry standards and years of experience.
- Read, understand, and follow blueprints and construction documents.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in waterproofing, preferably in commercial applications.
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in waterproofing, with a specific focus on caulking applications and quality.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work outside in changing weather conditions.
- Must be able to work in elevated locations.
- Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and overtime when necessary.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to different job locations.
- Must be seeking full-time employment with a long-term career commitment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED encouraged but not required.
- Safety certifications (preferred).
- English-speaking; bilingual preferred.
