About the role

The right applicant may have experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children, ministry in your Catholic parish, teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes, teaching your own children, or perhaps teaching in a classical or private school.

Responsibilities

- Teach in a classical and Catholic classroom - Sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church - Have a deep love for the Catholic faith - Follow curriculum and grading guidelines provided by RCA - Provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards - Prepare for classes at home and come to class prepared to teach in a highly structured environment

Requirements

- Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to your state in life - Available to attend one mandatory training day on August 3, 4, or 6, 2026 (TBD)

Qualifications

- Not required to have a teaching certification or formal teaching experience

Skills

- Strong communication skills - Good organization - Timeliness - A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship

Schedule

- Mondays and Thursdays 9:25 am - 4:00 pm
