Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage Catholic religious education programs from preschool through adult faith formation
- Recruit, train, and support volunteer teachers and staff
- Clock in program registration, scheduling, and classroom readiness
- Develop and manage program materials and assist with annual budgeting
- Support sacramental preparation (First Communion, Confirmation, RCIA)
- Maintain records, attendance, and required background checks for volunteers
- Prepare publicity and digital outreach for parish education programs
- Submit required reports, schedules, and monthly activity summaries
- Maintain RE office and storage areas in a clean and organized manner
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of teaching experience in a Catholic educational setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work professionally with clergy, staff, volunteers, and families
- Comfortable working in a military and multi-faith environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic social media tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Work Schedule
- Minimum of 18 hours per week
- Some evening and weekend hours required
